THESE ARE THE DAYS OF ANARCHY

December 21, 2008

We were on the streets of İzmir once more on the 20 th of December with the call of the comrades who fight for freedom in Greece.

We started to walk from Konak to Alsancak (through the city center) carrying our flags and shouting that all the States are murderers.

Then we went to Alsancak Pier and got abroad to the ferry, pretending to be ordinary passengers. Our friends who carry the red-black flag and the punkart , on which "we won't forget our brothers, we won't forgive the murderers" is written, were first to move when the ferry set off. Then immediately the person in charge came and wanted to stop the performance. Nevertheless they couldn't stop us but instead stopped the engine of the ferry. When we explained why we did such kind of action, the people on the ferry in the middle of the Gulf, applauded and showed our being rightousness once more. Then authorities who was to stop us had to pull back.

20th of December, the day of International Resistance and Solidarity was just a beginning for us. The voice of riot and freedom is going to be louder on this land.

These are Days of Anarchy
Our each step is a greeting to Greece and each slogan is for our brothers and sisters who are murdered.
Our rage to authority is rising with the cheer of life.
Anarchy in Izmir.People at the bus stops are supporting our action with their applause.
We are using the pedestrian crossing. Nevertheless we are totally against the state.
A beautiful winter night in Izmir.
We didn't forget the walls on the road.

The Fire of Freedom in Athens Has Reached to Izmir

December 17-18, 2008

The rising riot against the authority and the state has inspired many people on this land. We organised and walked through one of the busiest streets of İzmir carrying our flags and punkart on which "Yesterday in Spain, Today in Athens, Tomorrow Here! Riot Everywhere Anarchy Everywhere" is written.

On the way we left corpses behind us (spraying red paint on the street) and showed that we won't forget the ones who were killed by the state. And we shouted "We won't forget our brothers, we won't forgive the murderers."

This was first in Izmir but it was the beginning.

We did another action in Aegean University (Izmir). We prepared posters for the ones ,who were killed by the police, and exhibited them. People were shocked since the list was too long then they knew.

And then we performed an act in one of the cafes telling people how we were murdered. We are going on standing against the ones who 'glorify' death with a growing rage.

The streets of Izmir has first seen these punkarts.
Yesterday in Spain...Today in Athens...Tomorrow here...
RİOT everywhere! ANARCHY everywhere!
We don't forget, we don't forgive!
Wake up Izmir, fire at the neigbour!
We are also sixteen. Police! Shoot us!
